Brooklyn Latin Soul!

FULASOYOTOCO
SAN SIMÓN

Funky. Latin. Soul. Coming from and inspired by the five boroughs of New York City, Fulaso is an 11-piece party band spanning the genres of funk, boogaloo, and soul with a Latin edge. This bi-lingual and multi-cultural collaboration, led by the sensational Erica Ramos, brings exceptional energy, love and soul to every performance. For those who love to groove, dance, and boogaloo... "Cuidao! Fulaso viene guarachando!"

San Simón is an Afro-Latin driven septet influenced by raw soul, jazz improvisation and catchy pop songwriting stirred into an intoxicating brew of rhythm and song designed to keep you dancing. The group formed in late 2013 when guitarist/composer Evan Ubiera sought like minds that would push his vision to new heights, creating a dynamic and lively groove that nods to the past while remaining aware of the present. NY-based San Simón features a collective of musicians with backgrounds in genres as diverse as jazz, soul, neosoul, salsa, Afro-Caribbean folk and rock.

Yotoco is the incarnation of a musical love triangle between Umoja Orchestra, Bioritmo and Cumbiagra. They play a sensual, charismatic melange of Salsa, Rumba, and Cumbia. The group is symbiotically composed of Gabo Tomasini (Skins and bells) Natalia Perez (Güiro and voice) Jules Belmont (Guitar) and Sebastian Lopez (Bass). The group seeks a musical exploration of the human condition in the anthroposcene through the use of harmony, psychodelia, and latin roots rhythms.
