Magnetic Field reunion boat cruise

Bunnie England And The New Originals

Bunnie England And The New Originals are New York's hardest-working and hardest-partying live rock'n'roll karaoke band. From The Replacements to The Ramones, from Cheap Trick to The Cure, from the Stooges to the Stones, they've got over 175 songs in their catalog for you to sing... and turn yourself into a rock star!

Magnetic Field was Brooklyn's beloved "rock'n'roll cocktail bar," which closed its doors in March of '08 after over five years of bringing rock, culture, and booze to the County Of Kings. The venue hosted bands as diverse as The A-Bones, Black Lips, The Brought Low, Cynics, Detachment Kit, Mitch Easter, The Figgs, The Fleshtones, Gabby Glaser, Insomniacs, Lenny Kaye, Lilys, Lyres, Glen Mercer, Nashville Ramblers, Nouvellas, The Plimsouls, Ponys, Reigning Sound, Real Kids, Steve Wynn And The Miracle 3, Voxtrot, Woggles, and so many more; not too mention literary readings from the likes of David Gates, Amy Hempel, Sam Lipsyte, Ira Robbins, Jonathan Dixon, Dennis Cooper, Patrick Mcgrath, Nelly Reifler, Tim McLoughlin, John Leland, David Ohle, Steve Buscemi, Robert Lopez, and George Pelencanos. Bunnine England And The New Originals were the club's house karaoke band, playing twice a month for over three years.
