For The Benefit Of Mr. Kipp

Legendary booker, sound engineer, and all around rock'n'roll bad-ass Kipp Elbaum has hit a bit of a rough patch, so it's time to step up and raise some dough to help him get back on his feet! Heap, Cash Registers, and Live Ones will be playing live'n'loud, and DJs Mr. Lee (Dead Flowers Productions/Going In Style Sound System), Danny 2 Times (Moral Panic) and Nug Luva will be spinning rekkids! Oh, and there will be a raffle as well to raise more funds.

If you've ever had the good fortune to meet or work with Kipp, you know he'd be the first in line to help you out, so please lock this date in your calendar and make the scene!

Machine Gun Eyes

"Blistering old school punk rock outfit The Tracys are as clear an '80s punk revival as it gets." - Michael Haskoor, The Deli Magazine

Raised on '80s punk with a side of maple syrup, Alberta native Dave Klym (The Mike Plume Band, The Populars, Itch) is the driving force behind The Tracys monster hooks and blazing solos. On rhythm guitars, John Payne (Puppetbox) has been known to contribute harmonies as silky as his  well-coiffed hair.  Larry Mancini  holds down the fort on the bass guitar with a little bit of whimsy, and a belly full of pizza. Anchoring this operation is drummer Matt Ernst, whose thunderous beats form the foundation for the group's aggressive style.  With infectious melodies and gallows humor, The Tracys' brand of pop punk holds true to the sensibilities of old-school west coast punk. With the release of their 3rd record, Humdinger, The Tracys continue to hone their signature sound, taking aim at what ails us with a double barreled blast of music and mayhem.

THE LORD CALVERTS
BLOCKHOUSES • THE LIVE ONES • THE FLURRIES

From off the streets of Baltimore, '60s garage-rock legends The Lord Calverts are back! Relocated to New York City, the L.C.s are once again in front of audiences, delivering their own take on true American roots rock: loud, crass, catchy and quick!

Blockhouses is a revved-up rock'n'roll trio from New York City. The guitar-bass-and-drums combo got its name from the Blockhouse in Central Park, a fort built to protect New York City from British invasion. Like that Manhattan landmark, Blockhouses is rock-solid, delivering their own take on New York City rock'n'roll. Think catchy melodies with driving guitars and sweaty live energy. Blockhouses front man Guy Lyons was lead guitarist of The Figgs back in the day. With a batch of new tunes — and a stable of old classics — he formed Blockhouses in 2013 with bassist Christopher Peifer (The Kowalskis) and drummer Bill Wolf. The guys share a mutual love for bare-bones rock and roll -- from the Ramones to the blistering pop-punk of today. Their supercharged first single, "Love To Get You High," is out now.

Beacon, NY's The Flurries play unabashedly energetic three minute rock'n'roll gems... The Live Ones (Drugfront Records) play hopped up three-piece rock'n'roll in the grand New York tradition. Catchy tunes, howling vocals, and a big sweaty beat!
